My dad had a white 100 when I was really little. I5 I think, it was a C4.

my pops had one of these when i was a little little kid.
they called it a 5000 back then.
the audi 5000s. silver with blue check velour interior. oh so 80s.
they were really unique and ahead of their time. until the whole unintended acceleration debacle nearly put them out of business. take a look at some of the contemporary designs. bmw was cool, but more angular and sharp than these space-aged "aero"designed cars. mercedes was still making boxes on wheels. i wont even get into what was coming out of detroit.
this was actually a time when brands had unique, definitive and identifying designs. today its almost all just about headlight design.
